Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP)

With both Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) at our analyst’s fingertips the analyses of heavy metals and other elements is possible.

We use both ICP-MS and ICP-OES to determine metals in a wide variety of sample types from liquids to acid dissolvable substances, such as: Waters, Soils and Sediments, Food products, Pharmaceuticals / Nutraceuticals, Seaweed, Chemical products, and many more!

ICP-MS is a highly sensitive technique that can analyse a wide variety of sample types including produced and natural waters, soils and sediments, biota, food products, plant material, cosmetics, seaweed, rock, and chemical products. Any material that can be extracted or digested into solution can be analysed by ICP. By combining both ICP-MS with ICP-OES we can analyse for most metals and some non-metal elements from trace to macro concentrations.

This analysis is used in many different industries such as energy, water monitoring, geochemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food production and product development. For example, results can provide information on the levels of nutrients available in plant or soil samples or ensure that heavy metals are not present in a product.

Unlock unparalleled precision, gain deeper insights, with reliable ICP-MS and ICP-OES analysis.
