I am a research assistant in the Sustainable Transitions group of the Social, Economic and Geographical Sciences department. The main duties of my role involve contributing to the delivery of qualitative research projects by assisting with interviews, stakeholder workshops, data entry and synthesis, literature reviews and report writing.

As a graduate in Sustainable Development and Social Anthropology my background is in collaborative interdisciplinary research. My areas of interest encompass community engagement with climate change, human-nature relationships, and the circular economy. In my previous role I contributed to a project on place-based climate action through coordinating and co-facilitating interviews. After taking on a new position at the institute my focus has shifted towards supporting ongoing research on the circular economy and social innovation in rural Scotland. My future research direction will continue to involve supporting projects in these areas.
