I lead the Plant and Crop Sciences application area for Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland (BioSS) and the BioSS group based at the James Hutton Institute in Dundee where we are involved in research, consultancy and training. I have a background in ecological modelling with a focus on spatial systems and physiologically based models and am particularly interested in using models to synthesise complex data sets. Current work includes linking multiple highly multivariate data sets and multi-trophic spatial models for Natural Pest Management.
